All sessions are booked ahead through our website or the Icebreak app. Classes open for booking up to two weeks out and tend to fill quickly, so reserve your spot early. If a session still has room, walk-ins are welcome.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your session so you have time to change and settle in. Our sessions are guided and move as a group, so the doors close at the start time. For the safety and focus of the room, we cannot admit late arrivals once a session has begun, and a late arrival is treated as a no-show.
When a session is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. If a spot opens up, we move you in automatically and let you know. Your credit is only used if you are added to the session.
Plans change. You can cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours before your session start time for a full credit back. Cancellations inside 12 hours forfeit the credit or the value of the session.
If you miss a session without cancelling in time, the credit or session is forfeited. If you are running behind, let us know, but please plan to arrive before the start time, as we are unable to admit anyone once a session is underway.
Icebreak is an alcohol-free space, and we ask that you arrive clear-headed and sober. This is a place to connect through heat, cold, and real conversation, not a bar. Come as you are and leave the rest at the door.
Phones stay in your locker or in the lounge. The sauna, plunge, and session spaces are phone-free so everyone can be present and undistracted. Disconnect for an hour, and reconnect with yourself and the people around you.
Swimwear is required in the sauna and cold plunge, so bring a bathing suit or grab one from the shop. You will be barefoot beyond the changing area. If a specific session calls for anything else, we will let you know when you book.
Please bring two towels: one to sit on in the sauna and one to dry off with. We do not provide towels. Water and showers are here, along with everything you need to move between heat and cold. Bring your swimwear and anything you like for afterward, and find robes and other essentials in the shop.
Please rinse off in the showers before your first round in the sauna. It keeps the space clean and is part of good sauna etiquette. Showers are available before, between, and after your rounds.
Icebreak is for everyone. Talk, laugh, and connect in the social sauna at a volume that respects the calm others came for. We do not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind. Follow the lead of your facilitator, and look out for one another.
Lockers are provided for your belongings, so please leave valuables at home. Icebreak is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Anything left behind is held at the front desk for a limited time, so reach out if you have misplaced something.
Heat and cold are powerful. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or any medical concern, please check with your doctor before your first session. Stay hydrated, listen to your body, and step out any time you need to. Everyone accepts our Release of Liability before their first visit.
You must be 18 or older to book and attend on your own. Guests under 18 are welcome with a parent or legal guardian who attends with them and accepts our waiver on their behalf.
Session packs, memberships, and gift cards are non-refundable, and credits have no cash value. You can always put your credits toward any session that fits your schedule. See our Terms of Service for the full details.
You can cancel your membership anytime from your account or by emailing us at hej@icebreaksauna.com before your next billing date. Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund the current period, and you keep access through the end of it.
Gift cards can be redeemed toward sessions, packs, and most purchases. They are not redeemable for cash and cannot be reloaded. A little heat and cold makes a good gift.
